Pre-requisites

Slight pressure will be placed on the squeezy bulb to force the subject’s body into the MRI machine. This will be followed with removing all metallic items from the body including glass frames, jewelry, and belts to ensure no interference with the MRI machine. It is advisable to let your practitioner know about the presence of any implants if that is the case. If patients have claustrophobia, let the technician know so that they can take the relevant measures to assist them.

Procedure for Musculoskeletal MRI Scan

For the purpose of this scan, the technician will ask the patient to lie in a mobile table that is positioned inside the MRI.
